Mary-Lis’ passion is to create and nurture new ventures, and her motivation behind OZOLABS is to make available the benefits of ozonated oils for the care of our largest organ: the skin. Mary-Lis’ professional experience includes working in economic development at the United Nations and the World Bank and in asset management at Goldman, Sachs & Co. At Goldman Sachs, she built a business in the Private Client Services department. In the last five years, Mary-Lis has founded three companies in the field of therapeutic ozone.

Mary-Lis holds a BA in Spanish Literature and Generative Linguistics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School in Boston, MA, and an MBA in finance with honors from Columbia Business School. Mary-Lis was the Founder and President of 85 Broads Spain (now “Ellevate”).

 

Dr. Sílvia Menéndez, PhD

Dr. Menéndez is the most respected and experienced medical ozone and ozonated oil researcher in the world. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and was a full time researcher since 1986. Dr. Menéndez introduced ozone therapy in Cuba in 1986 and was Head of the Ozone Clinic of the Ozone Research Center, belonging to the National Center for Scientific Research, until 2011 when she retired. Dr. Menéndez has dedicated her entire professional life to studying and promoting the use of medical ozone in a wide range of ailments, and continues her involvement by teaching in a wide variety of settings. She is author of two patents, two medication registrations and a new therapeutic indication for ozonated sunflower oil, as well as two books, chapters of books, and more than 50 articles, published in peer-reviewed journals for the past 15 years, all in the field of ozone therapy. Dr. Menéndez has supervised over 40 thesis, imparted 60 national and international courses and participated in over 130 international scientific congresses with 260 research papers. Dr. Menéndez has been invited as a lecturer to countries such as Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, USA, Barbados, Japan, Egypt and India to lectures. She has received several medals and international and national awards for her work in the field of ozone therapy. Dr. Silvia Menéndez brings to OZOLABS an unparalleled level of know-how and experience in the field of ozonated oils, and leads the team in its ozone oil formulations and ongoing research efforts.

 

Michael Arbuckle, BA Sci, MA

A clear eyed seeker of knowledge, Michael Arbuckle has a track record like a fox: he is good at many things, among them finance, operations and technology. To Ozolabs finances he brings, with passion and dedication, the paradigms of excellence fostered by the Chartered Financial Analyst certification. To Ozolabs technology, he brings knowledge of leading edge user interface design and artificial intelligence systems. To Ozolabs core endeavor, the ozonating of oils, he brings an academic background in organic chemistry and cell biology. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Harvard College, and he earned a Master of Science Degree in Technology Management from Georgia Tech.
